Kirk was loved by all that came into contact with him, and worked with many great guitar players from Lenny Breau, Chet Atkins, Richie Sambora, Jerry Reed, Tommy Emmanuel,  Kevin Eubanks, and Richard Smith. His nylon string acoustic electric guitars are known to be some of the finest in the world in terms of craftsmanship, tone and playability. Kirk was a great guitar builder and a true innovator. His spirit lives on in the sound and soul of every custom built Kirk Sand Guitar, a tradition that we're honored to continue for future generations of musicians who demand only the finest guitars.
